The Owner's Seat

Most owners in this trade have never been asked to tell their story. They’ve told pieces of it at a bar, or to a supplier, or to a kid who didn’t really care.
That’s the show. One owner, 22 minutes, on how the business actually got built.
Who ends up on it
We look for someone who’s built something solid and never had a reason to sit down and explain how any of it happened.
We’re very selective on who we bring onto the show, as we want to showcase owners who have a reputation for good work and a story about how they got there.
Your work is known. You’re not.
That’s true of nearly every good shop I come across. The vans get recognised, the name gets passed around, and the guy who built the whole thing is a stranger in a city he’s been serving for years.
What we talk about
Your story. Not mine, not the industry’s.
How it started and what it actually took. The years nobody saw. What almost took it under. Then where the company sits now and what you’re still working on.
Who’s asking
I’m Max Treble. I ran a signpost business out of a two-door Honda Civic, dug holes in frozen ground all winter, and built it up to a truck, a crew and over two hundred realtor clients before selling it in 2026. Now I work with HVAC and refrigeration companies.
So I know what the years nobody sees look like, and how little anyone hears about them. That’s most of why I want to hear about yours.
